The facility uses the Epic EMR system and has 27 beds, plus triage and OR space. It features a Level 3 NICU with 24-hour anesthesia coverage for OB. The schedule includes shifts every Monday (7 AM - 5:30 PM), every Wednesday (5:30 AM - 5:30 AM), as well as the 2nd Tuesday, 1st Friday, and 3rd Friday of each month (7 AM - 5:30 PM). The program follows a Laborist model, providing 24/7 coverage for L&D and OB triage, with occasional ER consults for female GYN issues. OB/GYN residents are present 24/7, but there is no APP coverage. The provider will be responsible for supervising residents, with no exceptions. The facility performs approximately 400 C-sections per year, and the role requires comfort with C-sections, emergency D&C, and D&E procedures. Elective inductions are performed but are not common.
