Interventional Pain Management focuses on diagnosing and treating chronic pain conditions through minimally invasive techniques that go beyond medications and traditional therapies. As an Interventional Pain Management Physician, you’ll play a vital role in:
- Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to identify pain sources.
- Performing procedures such as epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and spinal cord stimulator placements.
- Managing a wide range of pain-related conditions, including musculoskeletal disorders, neuropathic pain, and chronic post-surgical pain.
- Developing individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' mobility, functionality, and overall quality of life.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pain conditions using advanced interventional techniques.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Stay at the forefront of medical advancements to offer innovative treatment solutions.
- Travel between multiple clinic locations in San Diego as required.
- Licensure: Active or in-process California Medical License.
- Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or a related field.
- Experience: Strong background in interventional pain management techniques and evidence-based practices.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel between clinic locations across San Diego.
