Position overview: This is an exceptional opportunity for a new graduate (MD/DO), infectious disease fellow, or experienced infectious disease physician who values work-life balance and is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a traditional private practice setting. We will also sponsor physicians with H1 visas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily office hours and scheduled hospital rounds for consultations.
  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with infectious and communicable diseases, including HIV and hepatitis, following established standards of care.
  • Build a patient panel by delivering exceptional medical services both in office and hospital settings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records using a state-of-the-art EMR system.
  • Review diagnostic results, offering recommendations, referrals, or prescriptions as needed.
  • Provide on-call phone coverage and hospital rounding every third weekend.
  • Uphold all required State and National licenses and certifications.
  • Foster professional relationships with community physicians to support outpatient and inpatient consultations.
  • Coordinate referral and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

  • Board certified or Board eligible in Infectious Disease.
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted Medical and DEA license in Florida or eligibility for licensure.
  • No Board sanctions or actions in the past 10 years.
  • Experience in HIV care a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, teaching skills, and bedside-manner.
  • A positive attitude and a great sense of humor in a changing healthcare environment.
