The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking an Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiologist to join a dynamic section of Heart Failure, Transplant, and Mechanical Circulatory Support that includes 8 physicians.

  • Be part of nationally recognized UW-Madison Cardiovascular Medicine program.
  • Provide evidence-based care for the entire spectrum of heart failure patients including medical therapy, temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support devices, heart transplantation.
  • Participate in HF subspecialty care clinics include LVAD, heart transplant, sarcoidosis, amyloidosis, pulmonary hypertension, HF genetics, and HFPEF.
  • Work in our state-of-the-art clinical and research facilities including The Pleasant T. Rowland Transplant Clinic and Wisconsin Institute of Medical Research (WIMR).
  • Join our cutting-edge HF research program involving basic, translational, clinical, and population-based projects. Opportunity to lead clinical trials and advance your knowledge in statistical analysis and artificial intelligence.
  • Candidates will participate in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows along with committees that support the clinical and scholarly missions of UWSMPH

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO or equivalent required;
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine and Advanced Heart Failure /Transplant required;
  • Eligible for Wisconsin Medical License
  • Full or Part Time: 80% - 100% Ongoing/Renewable
