HEADLINE: Philadelphia, PA (desirable suburb): Several Hospitalists needed with Internal Medicine/Hospital Medicine training for a top-notch community hospital. They are very flexible and offering choices regarding the shift schedule and hours. They currently have seven Hospitalists. $ The base starting salary range is from $250,000 to $350,000. Very competitive financial compensation package. Excellent fringe benefits package and excellent earning potential.

  • This hospital is located in a desirable suburb of Philadelphia.

 

  • The schools are excellent with many private and public choices.

 

  • The area has a strong economy, a low cost of living, and an excellent payer mix.

 

  • Residents really have the best of all worlds, with all the safety and slower pace of the suburbs but with the big city and all it has to offer just minutes away.

 

  • You will be able to enjoy and take full advantage of living very close to a big city such as Philadelphia, which will offer you numerous educational, cultural, and recreational opportunities and amenities!

 

  • You will also be situated just a 90 minute drive to New York City, 90 minutes to historical Lancaster county, and less than one hour to the beautiful New Jersey or Delaware beaches.



PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY:


  • Located in a desirable suburb of Philadelphia, several Hospitalists are needed to work at a top-notch and well-regarded community hospital.

 

  • Requirement: The new Hospitalists must be comfortable doing codes and working in the ICU as the primary attending with Pulmonary/ Critical Care consultant co-management.

 

  • Internal Medicine/Hospital Medicine training is their first choice.

 

  • This hospital currently has an active Hospitalist program in place which currently includes seven Hospitalists.

 

  • Work Schedule and Hours: This hospital is very flexible regarding offering choices regarding the shift schedule and hours. It can be 7 days on and 7 days off. They can also offer a choice of an 8-hour or 12-hour shift schedule. It will depend on what the internist/hospitalist needs and wants.

 

  • These excellent Hospitalist opportunities are due to growth and expansion and trying to meet the demands and needs of their growing community.

  • HOSPITAL:

  • The hospital that they admit to is full-service and well-regarded general medical and surgical community hospital.

 

  • It is one of the area's leading providers of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient community-based diagnostics, home health services and rehabilitation programs for all ages.

 

  • It is well known for excellence in cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, obstetrics, pediatrics, diagnostics and rehabilitation services.

 

  • It offers a full range of acute, ambulatory and emergency services.

 

  • Their emergency services department is equipped to handle all types of emergencies from pediatric to geriatric care.

 

  • They have a free standing surgery center and six ambulatory sites.

 

  • Availability: Both Internists who will be completing their residency during 2025, as well as Internists and Hospitalists who already have work experience will all be strongly considered and are welcome to apply.

FINANCIAL COMPENSATION:


  • The base starting salary range is from $250,000 to $350,000. It will be commensurate with the physician's experience -- i.e., new graduate versus a physician with work experience, number of hours the physician works, etc.

  • Productivity Incentive: This hospital is also offering a productivity incentive that will have a positive impact on the internist's earnings.
