About the clinician's workday

The practice setting is outpatient, with a start date as needed. The schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM, with weekday call after 5 PM. Call is every other week, including weekend rotations, though weekend onsite or call is rare. The daily volume consists of 30 to 40 machine patients, 1 to 3 consults, and 4 to 6 follow-up patients, with 2 to 5 tumor boards weekly. New consults average 3 per day, with infrequent hospital consults. The support staff is a solo position. Treatments include IMRT, SBRT, and SRS, utilizing equipment such as Varian True Beam, Trilogy, and CT sim GE Optima 580.
