OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Vibrant Nevada

About the facility

Two trauma centers serve an incredibly diverse patient population and offer in-house support from OB/GYNs, CNMs, and private physicians for deliveries and to provide collaborative care. The program is supported by the expertise of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists from the High-Risk Pregnancy Center, who serve as Perinatal Directors at both locations.

About the clinician's workday

Busy locations Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM). Patient Volume: Location 1: ~280 deliveries/month (~3 per shift), with busy triage (5-10 patients per shift) and OBED cases (up to 10 patients/shift). Location 2: ~175 deliveries/month (1-2 per shift on average). Responsibilities: Deliveries, triage, and OBED management. Assist with C-sections performed by private physicians. No GYN surgeries are required during hospitalist shifts.
