Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician

The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program and Inspire Health Medical Group (formerly Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG)) are currently recruiting for Pediatric Infectious Diseases faculty members at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. UCSF Fresno is a regional UCSF campus, and the candidate will hold a faculty appointment with and be part of the UCSF Pediatrics Department in San Francisco. The responsibilities include teaching medical students and residents, leading pediatric Antibiotic Stewardship (AS) and Infection Control (IC) programs at a large Regional Medical Center, and providing specialty care to patients on both teaching and non-teaching services. Academic rank and salary will be consistent with the successful candidate s professional background.

The candidate must have completed a residency in Pediatrics, subspecialty training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and have training or experience in Antibiotic Stewardship (AS) and/or Infection Control (IC). Must be board certified in Pediatrics and board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. The candidate must either hold a California Medical license or be eligible to obtain a California Medical license.

For positions exclusively funded by the affiliate organization: IHMG provided a reasonable salary estimate for this position $210,000-$265,000
