Duties can include but are not limited to performing:
Practice Environment
U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA Policy.
Education: A Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is required.
Licensure: Candidates must possess a current, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
Residency: Completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty
Board Certification: Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Duties can include but are not limited to performing:
- Diagnose and treat reproductive system disorders such as endometriosis, infertility, ovarian cysts, and pelvic pain.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, detection, and reproductive health, and breast exams.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
- The chief position determines all call coverage.
Practice Environment
- Annually, there are 900 unique outpatient encounters, primarily for consultations. The surgery department handles 100 inpatient and outpatient cases each year and reports to the chief of surgery.
- Wake Forest
- 3rd year OB/GYN resident from wake Forest OBGYN program rotating at all times.

- Competitive Salary Range: $300,000-$350,000.
- Paid Time Off: 50–55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
