Full-time Staff Physician

The Medicine Service/Acute Medicine Section at the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is seeking a full-time staff physician in the Emergency Room of our tertiary care academic facility. This position is primarily days/evenings but proportion of overnight coverage as well as assignment of other responsibilities is dependent on the clinical needs of the Acute Medicine Section. The successful candidate will be part of our interdisciplinary team delivering patient-focused, quality care to our nation's Veterans. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are required. Candidates will be eligible for a faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine commensurate with prior experience. Clinical responsibilities include direct patient care, advanced practice provider supervision as well as resident and student supervision. Board certification required.
