Position Highlights:
- Join our Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing exceptional care to over 1000 patients annually at Hartford Hospital.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within our specialized Stroke and Neuro-Critical Care units.
- Benefit from round-the-clock coverage by our dedicated endovascular and neurosurgery teams.
- Engage in teaching and mentorship programs for neurology residents, vascular neurology fellows, and neuro interventional radiology fellows.
- Access cutting-edge treatment options, including IV Tenecteplase and Endovascular therapy.
- Participate in telemedicine/tele-stroke services and contribute to our established outpatient Neurovascular clinic.
- Secure academic appointments with the prestigious University of Connecticut Medical School.
- Play an integral role in ongoing research initiatives and potentially serve as a site Principal Investigator.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology with specialized fellowship training in Vascular Neurology.
- Demonstrated commitment or desire to working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, serving a diverse patient population.
- Passion for education and mentorship, fostering the growth of trainees from varied backgrounds.
- Strong interest in research with a desire to actively participate in academic endeavors.
