CHI Health-Creighton University School of Medicine is actively seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care physician to enhance our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is perfect for a physician passionate about delivering patient care and teaching multiple levels of learners at our academic medical center. Clinical Opportunity highlights:Provide Inpatient/Outpatient Pulmonary Critical Care services to our Omaha network hospitals including Creighton University Bergan-Mercy Medical Center, a Level 1 trauma tertiary medical center with 24-hour in-house hospitalist coverage and robust surgical services.Exciting opportunity to work with a team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians in an academic medical facility. Regional and national collaboration to advance evidence-based practicesSystem with an extensive, established primary care network of 250+ providersFull spectrum ICU services including ECMO program and eICU servicesCollegial department and excellent work-life balanceInterventional Pulmonary Service with Robotic Navigational Bronchoscopy and full spectrum of airway and pleural interventionsAccredited Sleep LabTeaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.Fellowship program for Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine with plan for Sleep Medicine fellowship in 2026Academic appointment with Creighton University School of Medicine, rank commensurate with level of experienceEducational environment includes weekly fellowship conferences, grand rounds, and fellow didactic sessionsActive clinical research program with ample opportunities through CHI Health and Creighton University Community details - Omaha, NE:Nearly 1,000,000 residents in the metropolitan areaOmaha has been ranked the #1 place to move to in 2024Home to Fortune 500 companies including, Union Pacific Railroad, TD AmeriTrade, and Mutual of Omaha
