A Large Hospital is seeking a Medical Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.

About the facility location

In southern Michigan you'll find some of Michigan's main attractions such as Mackinac Island and Lake Michigan.

About the clinician's workday

The practice is 90% outpatient with occasional consults, as hospitalists handle rounding on patients. The schedule is Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with possible call and weekend shifts. The caseload is 14-18 patients per day. Hospital privileges are required, though temporary privileges are available. Support staff includes 3 RNs in the infusion area, and the EMR system used is Epic Beacon.
