OBGYN Hospitalist

LVPG OB/GYN is an enterprise of multiple practices across several counties in southeastern Pennsylvania that serves women s preventive, gynecological, and obstetric needs. Inpatient care is conducted at 2 Family Birth and Newborn Centers, Cedar Crest (Allentown) and Muhlenberg (Bethlehem) hospital sites, and 2 primary surgical locations at Muhlenberg and 17^th Street (Allentown) campuses.

Looking for per diem, part time and full time hospitalists to join our dedicated and experienced team!

Join a team of ob/gyn hospitalists who work with midwives, general ob/gyn physicians, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists at our largest network maternity hospital. This campus supports over 3000 births annually and serves as a referral hospital for our 4 other network maternity hospitals and for other regional facilities outside our network. Our hospitalists serve as the primary teaching faculty for the ob/gyn residents and medical students, and they work closely with our maternal fetal medicine physicians for management of high-risk patients. Newborn services include a Level IV NICU and access to our Lehigh Valley Reilly Children s Hospital pediatricians, including medical and surgical specialists. Limited hospital-based gynecology care may also be performed. Opportunities exist for participation in education, clinical research, quality and patient safety, and healthcare administration.

• Intimate and familiar patient settings or busy bustling practices

• Collaborate with a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurse midwives dedicated to providing exceptional care.
• Ability to teach and train students and residents at some locations.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• A current PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
• Ideally 3-5 years of clinical experience in obstetrics
