  About the Opportunity:

  • Team Composition: 6 Physicians, 2 CNPs, a Manager, a Clinical Coordinator for Bariatrics, 5 nurses, 1 Medical Assistant, and support staff
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 Noon
  • Call: Flexible Shared Call Responsibilities
  • Patient Distribution: 60% Outpatient; 40% Inpatient
  • Average Operative Volume: The typical caseload includes 3-4 major elective surgeries per week and 5-10 outpatient procedures, depending on the number of calls taken. Surgeries can be performed at the outpatient surgery center, depending on the type of procedure. Currently, surgeons perform 5-8 colonoscopies per day, with the potential to increase as more NP support becomes available and clinic volume grows. There is no required minimum for the number of colonoscopies.
  • Sponsorship: Able to sponsor both H1b and J1 Visas.
  • Requirements:
  • • Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
    • Must be capable of performing colonoscopies until we have a full-time GI specialist.

  Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate should be willing to take call and be comfortable working in a collaborative, team-based environment rather than relying solely on consultations. Comfort with acute care surgeries is also essential.
