Academic Urology and Urogynecology of Arizona is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible genital, urinary reconstructive urology specialist to join our exciting and dynamic private urology practice in the greater Phoenix area.

Candidates from all career levels are welcome to apply.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in male prosthetics, erectile dysfunction, male urinary
incontinence, urethral reconstruction, bladder neck reconstruction, and upper urinary tract
reconstruction, as well as participating in the care of general urology patients.

As a Reconstructive Urologist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough patient evaluations, making precise diagnoses, devising and executing treatment plans, and performing reconstructive surgeries. Your focus on delivering exceptional post-operative care and support will be instrumental in our patients’ recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations with assertiveness and precision.
  • Maintain and Enhance multidisciplinary relationships with local plastic, oncology, and colorectal specialists
  • Diagnose urologic conditions with a strong emphasis on reconstructive surgery.
  • Develop and execute effective treatment plans with confidence and expertise.
  • Skillfully perform reconstructive surgeries addressing urinary tract and related structural conditions.
  • Provide unwavering post-operative care, including vigilant monitoring and thorough follow-up visits.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive patient care experience.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in urology and reconstructive surgical techniques to continually elevate patient care.
Qualifications:
  • M.D. or D.O. with a specialization in Urology.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology.
  • Fellowship training or significant experience in reconstructive urology.
  • Demonstrated excellence in surgical skills, particularly with minimally invasive techniques.
  • Unwavering commitment to providing high-quality, empathetic care to our patients.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
