Mercy Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Rheumatology Physician to join our dynamic team in Toledo. As a key component of our patient care services, you will play a crucial role in guiding the patient journey with immune-mediated disorders. Your expertise will enhance the reputation of Mercy Health within the community, delivering professional services that uphold our commitment to excellence in healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive rheumatology care Monday through Friday
• Conduct initial patient consultations and develop individualized care plans
• Oversee patient follow-up visits and interpret results from lab and radiology tests
• Collaborate closely with referring providers and other healthcare professionals
• Recommend appropriate referrals to ensure seamless patient access to medical care
• Engage in teaching opportunities with internal medicine and family medicine residents

Additional Information:

• You will be supported by our dedicated administration, management team, clinic medical assistants, and office staff. This is a newer program with anticipated patient volumes increasing to 25 per day by the second year.

• Current certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Rheumatology
