Ranked as one of the nation s Best Children s Hospitals in seven specialties by U.S. News & World Report in 2022-2023 and recognized by Becker's Healthcare as one of the "150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare" in 2022, we re seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Pulmonologists as specialists with additional fellowship training in Sleep Medicine to join the growing team with one of the nation s largest pediatric healthcare networks, Valley Children s Healthcare, in Madera, California.
In addition to the main campus in Madera, California, we also are seeking physicians to practice at the new state-of-the-art Eagle Oaks Medical Office Building in Bakersfield, located just an hour and a half from Los Angeles.
At Valley Children s main campus, you ll love working at this state-of-the-art, free-standing children s hospital that sits on a 50-acre campus on the bluffs of the San Joaquin River with the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains in view. Valley Children's is an expanding not-for-profit children's hospital and healthcare system with 358 regional beds and more than 640 physicians serving 12 counties and more than 1.3 million children in central California. The largest group of its kind in the Central Valley, the practice also includes nurse practitioners, nurses, dietitians, respiratory therapists, social workers and psychologists focused on treating the whole child.
The team provides excellent and compassionate care along with conducting educational events on asthma and cystic fibrosis, helping patients and families with individualized education plans and resource materials to measure the child s progress. They are also dedicated to and involved in ongoing research for pulmonary disorders such as cystic fibrosis and asthma, allowing patients to participate in valuable clinical trials and other studies.
Valley Children s Hospital is a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF)-accredited center affiliated with the CFF Core Center at Stanford Medical Center. The cystic fibrosis and home ventilator programs are also recognized by the California Children s Services program.
Valley Children s network spans one of the most scenic and geographically diverse areas of the United States. It s an outdoor lover s paradise! The area is within one to three hours of the stunning Pacific coast, the Napa and Sonoma wine regions and the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains, plus the San Francisco, San Jose and Los Angeles metropolitan areas. Lake Tahoe is about a four-hour drive away. Whether you prefer the snow, the sun or the sand, it s all within your reach. And with so much varied geography, you ll also find hiking and biking trails, kayaking, fishing, local wineries, farm stands and festivals, gourmet cuisine, and so much more.
Additionally, you will find warm, welcoming affordable communities that provide a great place to live and work, affordable homes, excellent schools and a strong financial compensation package, including relocation and signing bonus.
