UMMC DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, is seeking Assistant Professors of Medicine, skilled in teaching medical students, residents and fellows. Successful candidates will support our mission of providing state-of-the-art patient care, education and research. Applicants must possess a medical degree (MD) and have completed an internal medicine residency and a fellowship in one of the following specialty areas: cardiology; hematology; oncology; nephrology; infectious disease; endocrinology; geriatrics; digestive disease; allergy; rheumatology or pulmonary. Employer will accept board eligibility or board certification as evidence of completion of the required training. Applicant must be eligible to obtain a Mississippi medical license.
