Hematology and Oncology Physician

Capital Health is seeking a hematology and oncology physician to join their team.

Job Requirements:

• Medical School
• Residency in internal medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
• Eligible to obtain licensure in New Jersey and Pennsylvania Reporting Relationships

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Explaining a diagnosis to patients.
• Discussing treatment options with patients.
• Work with the cancer center team.
• Coordinating treatment plans and prescribing various types of treatment, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
• Examining patients and ordering medical tests.
• Developing personalized treatment plans.
• Assisting in managing the side effects and symptoms treatment.

About the Practice:

Capital Health – Hematology Oncology Specialists aim to support patients and their families from diagnosis through treatment of various types of cancer, allied diseases, and benign hematology. The team consists of hematology and oncology experts who collaborate to determine comprehensive, individualized approaches for each patient's needs.
