Advanced Cardiologist/Specialty Cardiologist

Capital Health is seeking an Advanced Cardiologist/Specialty Cardiologist physician to join their team.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO Degree, NJ & PA licenses
• Board certified/eligible in Cardiology
• 3+ years of specialty training from an accredited cardiology program
• 3+ yrs. of experience practicing as a Heart Failure Specialist preferred

Requirements

• Provide care to patients with advanced heart failure and cardiomyopathy
• Manage patients with ventricular assist devices and those awaiting heart transplantation
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives
• Order and interpret laboratory and imaging tests
• Provide education to patients and families regarding disease management
• Keep accurate patient medical records; completing all necessary documentation to allow for timely and efficient billing and claim submittal
• Participates in on-call schedule in a responsive and timely manner
