Position Highlights:
  • Joining 5 Urologists; 2 APC Urologists
  • 2 XI DaVinci Robots
  • ASC Surgical Centers are at Everett and Arlington; Providence for inpatient.
  • Schedule is somewhat negotiable; 4 day work week is an option.
  • Shared community call with Providence 1:6, 1:8 once we are fully staffed.
  • 20-24 patients per day average
  • 14 patients per day for procedures
  • 30min New Visits / 15min Follow-Up templating
  • Epic EMR
  • DAX is available
  • 1:1 ratio with MA. RNs Float between providers. RNs available to manage chemo and injections.
  • General Urology; all sexes; mostly 60+ population

Cases Seen:
  • General Urology; Need for Urologist open to seeing both men and women.
  • Types of procedures include nephrectomy, urinary diversions, endourology
  • Cannot dedicate towards specific sub-specialty

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Treating and managing patients according to standard, usual, and customary methods, and techniques.
  • Provides understanding of diagnosis, treatment, therapy, and management of patients according to current standards of care utilizing best practice recommendations.
  • Counsels and educates patients and families.
  • Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Communicates effectively and respectfully with physicians, other health professionals, and staff.
  • Coordinates care with multidisciplinary team members.
  • Follows ethical principles regarding patient confidentiality, informed consent, and unanticipated adverse outcomes.
  • Demonstrates the highest level of accountability for professional practice.
  • Maintains effectiveness throughout changing circumstances. Is flexible, resilient, and change oriented.
  • Participates in organizational and departmental meetings, educational opportunities, committees, and workgroups as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
  • A degree in medicine from an accredited school
  • Completion Urology Residency
  • Board Eligible or Certified
  • Unrestricted license to practice in Washington State or ability to obtain before hire
  • Maintain BLS certification


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an ASC environment

Washington Residents Only: The salary/hourly range for Washington residents is $429,056 to $641,310. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
