Lee Physician Group Orthopedics seeks a BE/BC Orthopedic Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeon to join it s dynamic, well-respected, & busy team as we expand our program and keep up with increasing demand. New position is part of our strategic plan to become a regional and national destination for excellence in prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders.

Position Information:

Candidates must have completed both an Orthopedic Surgery Residency and a Hand Surgery Fellowship. Incoming surgeon would partake in general orthopedic call at a Level 3 facility.

Group currently has 4 physicians and 3 APPs and are expanding to cover additional hospital locations within the community. Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity specialist will join 2 general orthopedic surgeons at the new Cape Coral location. Surgeon can expect to ramp up quickly with a large referral basis from over 200 primary care providers as well as 5 Convenient Care locations.

Program is led by internationally renowned hand and wrist surgeon Dr. Thomas Hunt, VP and Chief Physician Executive of Musculoskeletal Medicine at Lee Health. Among his many accolades, Dr. Hunt serves as team physician for the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals & is the senior advisor to the NFL s Musculoskeletal Committee & Medical Advisor for the Titleist Performance Institute.
