The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at VCU Health is seeking Gastroenterologists who are board eligible/certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, to provide clinical services at multiple locations throughout the greater Richmond, VA area.

  • Participate in the inpatient management of liver conditions and perform diagnostic endoscopic procedures.
  • Expectations include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in the management of patients with liver conditions specifically transplant.

The VCU Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is currently ranked #4 in the country and #11 globally for training programs by US World and News Report. The Liver Transplant program is in the top 10 in the United States performing over 200 transplants each year including living donor.
