McLeod Health, located in Florence, SC, is looking for a physician with experience to serve as a Physician Advisor for Case Management Services. The candidate will possess a SC Medical License and be Board Certified in their specialty. He/She will have a strong clinical background with excellent communication skills and leadership abilities. This position will report to the Senior Physician Advisor and duties for this role include: educating and negotiating with medical staff on key issues affecting quality, such as length of stay, level of care, resource utilization, documentation deficiencies, readmission rates, and mortality. He/She will also serve as a liaison between hospital and payer Medical Directors to compliantly resolve clinical determinations and reimbursement issues.
