REI OPPORTUNITIES AT ATRIUM HEALTH WAKE FOREST BAPTIST/ WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Faculty Position
Wake Forest University Center for Fertility, Endocrine, and Menopause is seeking a full time faculty member to complement our robust Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division. We have been serving the region for over 30 years with consistently high success rates and quality care covering the gamut of Reproductive Endocrinology. Currently, we perform roughly 500 IVF cycles per year in addition to all other aspects of Reproductive Endocrinology. As the only Medical School in the region, we see patients from a large radius. In addition to a busy IVF practice, we also have MIGS surgeons in our office and therefore offer the full range of reproductive surgery. We are an Academic Institution and Medical School, so the faculty are engaged in teaching of both students and residents.
Chief, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
In addition to hiring new faculty, The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist seeks an exceptional physician leader (MD, DO, MD/PhD, or DO/PhD) to be the Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). The ideal candididate is someone who combines proven leadership and administrative skills with an outstanding record of academic accomplishment, dedication to excellence in clinical, research, and/or teaching, and the creative vision to help shape the future of a dynamic division.
About Us:
The Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division currently includes 2 full-time physicians and a growing IVF practice with a full-time onsite Ph.D. laboratory director. In 2018, the practice moved into a new, 17,000 square foot state of the art facility to offer the full range of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility services to the region. The practice also includes fertility preservation, reproductive surgery, and the use of donor gametes and gestational carriers. Funded research in the Division involves implantation, endometriosis, and IVF failures under the direction of Dr. Bruce Lessey. Urologic infertility specialists, reproductive psychiatrists, and pediatric and medical endocrinology specialists are present at Wake Forest along with a full range of other colleagues and collaborators across the medical center and the university. Academic rank, salary and benefits will be competitive and consistent with experience. North Carolina Medical License, or eligibility for licensure, required. Preference is for an individual at the Assistant or Associate Professor Rank who is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with Fellowship Training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
