Valley Health/Winchester Medical Center is seeking a Board-eligible/Board-certified Palliative Care physician to enhance an established and growing team. Current focus on inpatient medicine in a hospital-employed position at our thriving 495-bed regional medical center, with a state-of-the-art campus in Virginia s beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Outpatient opportunities with our team are being developed for future focus.
The successful candidate for this employed position will work well within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to furthering quality initiatives. Experience preferred.

Collaborate with an exceptional group of medical specialists and primary care physicians, including a multidisciplinary palliative care team.

Opportunities to improve primary palliative care by educating other care providers in skilled, evidence-based, and compassionate management as well as communication about advanced illness and end-of-life care.
