The schedule for this position includes both weekday and weekend call shifts. The role requires skills in bread-and-butter OB/GYN and the ability to manage both low and high-risk patients, including those with obesity, high blood pressure, and hypertension. The position does not involve handling culps or major procedures. On average, the call back volume for locums during a weeknight and weekend call shift varies, with recent figures indicating 0 to 3 call backs over the weekend. Note that call volumes have increased slightly recently.
