Academic Physician Assistant

The Department of Family and Community Medicine is seeking a full-time Academic Physician Assistant to join the Department as teaching faculty. The candidate will be joining a Physician Assistant Student Program within the greater Tulsa area.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing formal classroom instruction, course coordination, course evaluation, and student assessment for assigned courses in the didactic phase. Assisting with program accreditation and self‐study, obtain continuing education requirements, and participate in other activities that lead to new knowledge in areas that are consistent with the needs of the program and the profession. And participating in general Program coordination, Admissions Committee, Student Progress Committee, and other roles as indicated.

Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. A competitive salary and an excellent benefits package are offered. Various administrative positions may be available, based on candidate qualifications and program needs. Candidates should hold a master’s degree or higher, current NCCPA certification, and an unrestricted Oklahoma medical license (by date of hire).
