Director of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) is adding a Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/ Kings County. The Hospital is part of the?NYC Health + Hospitals System. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.

Opportunity Details

• Planning, implementing and coordinating the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency curriculum, resident selection, supervision, and performance evaluation in compliance with CODA.

• Supervision of residents and dental students in the outpatient and inpatient clinical areas.

• Under general directions, performs all required dental/surgical services within his/her field of specialty.

• Provide direct patient care.

• Ongoing participation in the departmental Quality Assurance Program.

• Assist in the maintenance of standards of performance of physicians and other professional employees working in the service.

• Assume Emergency on-call responsibilities.

• Current licensed NYS registration certificate
