Shifts are available both days and nights, with options for 10 or 12-hour shifts. The annual volume is 38,000 cases, averaging 1.85 patients per hour. There is 24-hour APC coverage. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics or a Pediatrics Subspecialty with at least 2 years of emergency medicine experience, and hold ATLS and PALS certifications. An active Texas license is required. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be covered.
