A facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.

About the facility location

Caribou, Maine is the most northeastern city in the United States. While you're there on assignment, venture out on Maines interconnected snowmobile trail system to access the 1,600 miles of trails in Aroostook County.

About the clinician's workday

The position offers solo MD coverage with 12-13 hour shifts, supported daily by an APP for 6-10 hours. An active ME license and DEA are required. Must be ABEM/EM residency or IM/FM trained but ABEM/grandfathered in. New ER graduates are welcome to apply. Travel and lodging expenses are covered, and the EMR system used is T-System. Credentialing typically takes over 30 days.
