Physician - Cardiology - Pediatric

Cross Country Locums has a need for a Pediatric Cardiologist to join their team on a Locum Tenen basis. This is a non-invasive, non-interventional role with a very desirable schedule and competitive compensation.

Schedule: This is a recurring monthly schedule, working Monday to Monday for one to two weeks per month. Your days will be spent rounding and providing inpatient care from 8am to 6pm, with on-call responsibilities overnight and throughout the weekend. Don't worry, the call is very light, and you'll have support from Residents, PICU & NICU MD's.

Scope of Work: You'll focus on non-invasive inpatient pediatric cardiology, including echocardiography. Note, ECMO is not required at this time.

Compensation: Your daily rate will be $1,800 for a 10-hour day from 8am to 6pm, which includes carrying the beeper. Any overtime from 6pm to 8am Monday to Monday will be paid at $225 per hour.

Requirements: You'll need a Texas medical license or be willing to obtain one as the coverage need is anticipated to continue. Board certification or eligibility is also required, with a scheduled exam date if eligible. PALS and NRP certifications are a must.

Perks: There's potential to convert to a permanent position if desired. Our permanent doctors enjoy a rotation of three weeks in clinic and one week inpatient, but locums will focus solely on inpatient care.
