Physician - Geriatrics - Palliative Care

Tampa General Medical Group (TGMG) is the physician practice of Tampa General Hospital and includes physicians and advanced practice providers specializing in cardiology, endocrinology, geriatrics, hepatology, internal medicine, family practice, organ transplantation, pediatrics, and surgery.

This role will function in a hybrid capacity within the community, directly in assigned skilled nursing facilities as well as the clinic and other post-acute locations in the future.

Geriatrics - Skilled Nursing Facilities

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures and professional guidelines, delivers medical care to patients. Plans medical care, documents medical assessments, identifies and refers situations that require intervention. Formulates and communicates goals and plan of care, assuring patient rights. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
