About the clinician's workday

This position offers outpatient work only, starting with 1-2 days per week, with the possibility of half-day shifts. The role involves assisting the current Neurologist in managing their patient load, primarily focusing on bread-and-butter outpatient cases. There is no on-call requirement, although you may occasionally be asked to do phone consultations or answer patient questions after hours. The patient schedule consists of 12 patients per half day, though there is a high no-show rate. The practice uses Epic EMR, and no admissions are required. You will have a full support staff, and no procedures are necessary, as these are typically performed by the full-time permanent Neurologist. However, you must be able to perform basic diagnostics and prescribe treatments. The credentialing process takes approximately 90 days, and candidates must be board-certified or truly board-eligible.
