About the clinician's workday

The practice setting includes both clinic and inpatient responsibilities. The role involves handling approximately two new consults per day. The position is set to start in October and will continue until a permanent hire is made. Weekday call coverage is for 24 hours, with fellows taking the first call and contacting staff as needed. The weekend call ratio is 1 in 10. The schedule runs from Monday to Friday, with clinic hours from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and inpatient hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including after-hours phone calls if on service.
