Medical Director, Structural TEE, for an Academic Cardiology Practice in the Saint Louis Metropolitan Area
We are actively seeking qualified candidates for Medical Director, Structural TEE at SSM Health-Saint Louis University Hospital. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in further developing our busy and growing structural interventional program.
Clinical responsibilities will include outpatient practice, inpatient rounding, transthoracic and TEE (with focus on structural imaging) and outreach. The successful candidate will have an allocated buy-down to allow focus on complex structural TEE imaging.
Preference will be given to candidates who have training or practice experience in structural echocardiography and those with established research interests/grants. Clinician Scientist track will be considered for appropriate candidates. Active licenses in Missouri and Illinois states are expected prior to start date.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will be board certified/board eligible in cardiology. Academic appointment will be commensurate with the candidate's credentials and experience.
