Overview
Woodland Clinic Medical Group is seeking a General Ophthalmologist with subspecialty interest in medical retina, glaucoma or ocular plastics. This position involves providing comprehensive ophthalmic care, including both medical and surgical interventions.

 

Opportunity Highlights

• Full time practice, with dedicated OR time.
• Call obligation is 7 days per month.
• Incoming physician will be joining one other ophthalmologist and optometrist.
• This is an employed position with two year shareholder track
• Two-year guaranteed salary of $363,439 annually, then transition to productivity model
• $40,000 sign on bonus

• Six-week of unscheduled time off in the first two years

Community Description
Woodland is the county seat of Yolo County, located in California's Central Valley. Woodland is located 20 miles northwest of Sacramento at the intersection of Interstate 5 and State Route 113. To the south is the City of Davis, a university-oriented city noted for small-town style is just 20 miles from Sacramento, and for those craving a taste of the city life you are just an hour from San Francisco. The Sacramento International Airport is eight miles to the east. Waterways include the Yolo Bypass and Sacramento River to the east, Willow Slough to the southeast, and Cache Creek to the north.

Responsibilities
Patient Care:

• Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.Provide clear and concise medical information.Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.Diagnostic Procedures:

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.<
