About the clinician's workday

This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with a 40-hour workweek consisting of 7 patient contact hours per day. The typical hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with patients scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Providers have a one-hour lunch break to return calls, work on documentation, and other tasks. Additionally, appointments are available from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on certain days. The practice uses the EPIC EMR system. For on-call duties, when a physician is on call, there is a Nocturnist available in-house from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. three days a week, so the on-call physician is only a backup for questions and is very rarely called in. Only Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) candidates will be considered for this position. COVID-19 or flu vaccinations are required, though exemptions can be approved if needed.
