The ideal providers will have the passion and motivation to build an excellent clinical practice from the beginning while maintaining the highest professional care as is always demonstrated within the Piedmont organization.
Requirements & Highlights:
- Board Certified MD/DO
- Daily inpatient rounding to accomplish Infectious Disease (ID) consults
- Outpatient clinic for follow up of prior inpatients and new outpatient consults
- Will have one or two residents assigned to the service as a dedicated rotation to perform consults, see patients in the clinic along with attending.
- Medical Directorship for antibiotic stewardship
- Close collaboration with infection prevention team to further decrease incidence of Hospital Acquired Infections
- Participation on a scheduled basis with the Community Health Care System (CHCS) outpatient, resident-staffed clinic
- Supervision, education and development of our Enterostomal Therapy (Wound care) inpatient nurses.
