  • Work Dates Needed: Vacation/conference/Supplemental coverage - weekends, weeknight, and vacation dates - Call coverage 7a-7a
  • Preferred Schedule: 24 hour call
  • Scope of work: Covering for the Cardiology Director - Weeknights, weekends, and vacation dates. Usually get about 1-4 weeks notice on coverage dates needed.
  • Cath Lab and ED consults
  • Hospital averages 5 STEMI's a month
  • Assignment will include cath lab and service calls (stress testing), reading ECHO and EKG
  • No office/clinic work
  • Covering inpatient cardiac floor (rounds) and ED consults - average patient census varies
  • Cardio documentation done through CCW which is a CVIS system reporting on caths, stress tests, ECHO/EKG flows into the Meditech System.
  • When locums are covering, the NP stays and covers the office patients but doesn't work in conjunction with the locums. However, the NP can be a resource to the locums with any questions.
  • Must be Board Certified
  • OH license, DEA, current CAQH and NPPES applications
  • EMR: EPIC
