We are looking for dedicated medical oncologists and hematologists to join our growing program providing high quality, collaborative care in a robust community setting with a strong clinical trial program. We are a large community oncology practice with physicians practicing general hematology and oncology with enough volume to allow practice within sub-specialized areas of interest (GI, hematologic malignancies, breast, transplant, cellular therapies). We continuously strive to be known as the most knowledgeable, progressive, trusted and compassionate cancer practice in the region.  Clinical responsibilities (full-time) include outpatient consultation treatment, long-term management, as well as inpatient consultation at the affiliated hospitals. Other activities include community service, education, and support for clinical research. 

Practice Highlights:

  • Full time is 4 clinic days. This position allows for a great work/life balance with limited call. 
  • A robust, inter-professional team. You will work with a dedicated nurse case manager, medical assistant and patient care coordinator. Our team includes experienced and long term infusion nurses, pharmacists with infusion as well as oral drug expertise, mental health with capabilities to prescribe as well as provide therapy, palliative care, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, OT, dietitian, social work.
  • We have an excellent clinical trial program including phase I-III trials across the spectrum of solid tumor and malignant hematology as well as radiopharmaceutical/theranostics trials. A well supported research team with a wealth of experience assist with every aspect of the process from screening onward. 
  • Dedicated multidisciplinary tumor boards in GI, breast, lung, neuro, GU, soft tissue/sarcoma, melanoma/skin, head and neck, endocrine. 
  • Multiple full service infusion clinics.
  • Outpatient specialty pharmacy.
  • In house PET, CT, bone scan, MUGA.
  • ASCT, CAR-T, bispecific capabilities.
  • Opportunities but not requirements to work with medical students, residents and fellows from local affiliates.
  • Partnership/ownership opportunities. 

Requirements

  • A medical degree  (MD, DO, MBBS or equivalent) and completion of an accredited residency and medical oncology fellowship program. 
  • American Board of Internal Medicine Medical Oncology boards certified/boards eligible.
  • Caring and compassionate nature.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
