Pediatric Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist at Cohen Children’s Medical Center

Northwell Health s Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a BE/BC child and adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team at Cohen Children s Medical Center. We are recruiting a highly motivated Practitioner who has outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills and can work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will provide inpatient psychiatric consultations and follow-up visits to medical/surgical inpatients. Responsibility includes evaluating and treating patients that have behavioral complications from medical illness, complications from medications, psychiatric disorders that are co-morbid with medical conditions, and medical complications of different psychiatric disorders. Teaching opportunities exist within our resident program.
