Position Highlights:
The position exists due to growth in the region and the hospital's vast referral network
Currently, the need is for a leader who has an interest in building a program, ideally becoming a team of 3, generalists and open to subspecialists
Call will be 10 days/month - goal is to hire APPs to assist with call
OR Block time available
Variety of interesting and complicated cases; grateful patient base
Work life balance is promoted, can have a 4 day work week
Opportunity exists for academic partnership with the School of Medicine
Teaching and research is available for those who are interested, but it is not a requirement
Compensation starts off at the MGMA median, can quickly get above the 75th% with bonuses
Sign on bonus, relocation, CME funds, and an excellent pension
