Assistant Professor of Medicine/ Pulmonologist

University of Kentucky seeks an Assistant Professor of Medicine/Pulmonologist in Lexington, KY to serve as attending physician in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine inpatient and consult service; perform didactic lectures in classroom settings and contribute to the teaching responsibilities of the Department, including participation in the Division’s courses for medical students and teaching and supervising residents, fellows and graduate students; engage in scholarly activity pertinent to clinical care, education or health services; serve on applicable College of Medicine and University committees as assigned.  This position requires a M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent; board eligible/board certified in Internal Medicine; board eligible/board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine; eligible for Kentucky State Medical License. Any candidate offered a position may be required to pass pre-employment screenings as mandated by University of Kentucky Human Resources.  These screenings may include a national background check and/or drug screen.
