As stewards of the UH legacy for excellence in patient care, our physicians are guided by an unwavering commitment to our mission:

To Heal. To Teach. To Discover.

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology in the Department of Pediatrics at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s is in search of a Pediatric Pulmonologist who is passionate about improving the health and well-being of children with lung disease, and enjoys collaborating with others to care for patients and to advance our field.  Appointment at the level of Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or full Professor is available commensurate with experience.

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology includes the Leroy Matthews Cystic Fibrosis Center, the only Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia Center in northern Ohio, a Severe Asthma Program, the Advanced Breathing Center for care of children with complex pulmonary needs, a Sleep Center and Pediatric Sleep Lab, a Pulmonary Hypertension Program, an Interstitial Lung Disease program, and an Aerodigestive Program.  Rainbow is a highly collaborative environment and these programs include strong partnerships with Otolaryngology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Pediatric Surgery, Behavioral Health, and many others. We have a Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship program with 1–2 fellows per year. Faculty teach pulmonary fellows, sleep fellows, pediatric residents, and medical students. Clinical research within the division includes more than 30 active trials in CF, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and sleep medicine. In addition to clinical research, our faculty are active in translational research, educational scholarships, and quality improvement and implementation of science. All faculty are provided with a mentoring committee to help them meet their own personal professional development goals.

University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital provides our youngest patients with the advanced expertise and the compassionate care they need to heal.
