The Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine Department of Pathology is seeking a Surgical Pathologist to cover our expanding areas of service.

The successful candidate will join a cohesive team of sub specialized surgical pathologists who handle approximately 35,000 surgical specimens annually. Ample opportunities for clinical/translational research and multidisciplinary collaboration with investigators of the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center are available.

Candidates must have an MD degree or equivalent and be AP or AP/CP board-certified/eligible. Individuals will be required to obtain a medical license in the State of Illinois. Strong diagnostic skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong work ethic abilities are essential. A record or a potential for academic and scholarly accomplishments indicating commitment to academic career is desirable.
