We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Non-Operative Orthopedic Provider to join HCMG. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

The Non-Operative Orthopedic Provider specializes in the conservative management and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. This role emphasizes non-surgical interventions and holistic patient care, bridging the gap between primary care and surgical intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Evaluation:

  • Conduct thorough patient examinations, including interpreting diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.

Treatment:

  • Recommend and administer non-surgical treatments including, but not limited to, physical therapy referrals, bracing, joint injections under ultrasound guidance, administration of cutting edge orthobiolgic treatments (stem cells, PRP).
  • Provide pain management advice and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Patient Education:

  • Educate patients on their conditions, outlining both surgical and non-surgical treatment options.
  • Advise on injury prevention, ergonomic practices, and exercises to improve mobility and strength.

Consultation and Referral:

  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to identify cases that might require surgical intervention.
  • Refer patients to other medical specialists when their conditions demand treatments outside the realm of orthopedics. Refer patients, as appropriate, to Exercise as Medicine or similar programs.

Other Duties:

  • Maintain comprehensive, timely, and up-to-date medical records.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the practice's continuous improvement initiatives.

The preferred candidate will have experience in outpatient settings, emphasizing non-surgical musculoskeletal care, and familiarity with musculoskeletal ultrasound or other diagnostic tools.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Graduate of an Emergency Medicine Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship preferred.
  • Training or extensive experience in non-operative orthopedics or sports medicine.
  • Valid state medical license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Join the Holy Cross Medical Group in Fort Lauderdale and become an integral part of our mission to provide exceptional care to our community. If you possess the necessary qualifications and are passionate about non-surgical orthopedics, we encourage you to apply and contribute to our commitment to excellence in patient care.
