About the area
SCPMG San Bernardino County serves a population in the northeastern section of the LA Basin that s as diverse topographically as culturally. High-desert hiking, skiing at Big Bear, water-skiing on Lake Arrowhead, and mountain biking on Mt. Baldy are all close by as are very affordable options for home-buying. Cultivated over a 70-year history the region s oldest San Bernardino County s culture is one of teamwork, respect, integrity, and diversity. Despite its longevity, our area is characterized by growth: nearly 500 new physicians have come aboard in the past five years from around the county, infusing the area with a dynamic, youthful energy and fresh ideas. San Bernardino County is also one the region s largest centers, with two new hospitals and a wide range of services. Its breadth and depth offer physicians a myriad of opportunities for leadership, specializing, academic pursuits, social activities, and provide a high level of professional support. Our small but mighty regional group focus on gender dysphoria, reproductive health, transitional care of complex populations, and eating disorders. Our region has a strong specialty footprint, aligning with some regional programs of potential interest such as pediatric pain, palliative care amongst others, and offer many opportunities to grow interests.
Additionally, our team provides:
- Routine adolescent health care, including exams for school, college, camp, work, and sports; preventative care and screening; treatment for minor illnesses and immunizations
- Acne treatment
- Contraceptive counseling and management, including LARCs
- Coping with chronic illness
- Evaluation and management of eating disorders, weight, and body image concerns
- Menstrual concerns: lack of periods, heavy periods, irregular periods, camps and severe premenstrual symptoms, PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome)
- Puberty, growth, and development concerns
- Evaluation for school, personal, and family concerns
- Sexuality transmitted infection diagnosis and treatment
- Sports injuries
- Substance use and abuse
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
Salary range for full-time/part-time openings is $234,275.00- $343,763.00. Potential premium earnings are up to $19,008.00.
Salaries are inclusive of incentives depending on skills and competencies and geographic location. Potential premium earnings are based on location. Annual Salary is determined by longevity with the Group and full time equivalent (FTE) work schedule/effort.
