Job Posting: Endourologist New York, New York

Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor, commensurate with experience

Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) in partnership with New York-Presbyterian (NYP) Hospital is seeking a board certified or eligible Endourologist to join our team in the Department of Urology. This individual will lead the Weill Cornell Stone Center and direct the Endourology service line spanning our Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn campuses, establishing one, uniform program among a diverse patient population. The successful applicant will complement our growing clinical practice to develop and streamline the Endourology service line and patient access initiatives.

Description:

  • Expertise in open, endoscopic, and percutaneous, management of urinary stone disease, the use of shock wave lithotripsy, minimally invasive office-based procedures, and management of metabolic abnormalities. Instrumental role in advancing the Department of Urology’s mission of providing the best personalized, compassionate, quality care to patients. Committed to discovery and innovation with an ability to independently design and lead research and clinical trials. Mentorship is available for these activities. Cultivate leadership skills and development, through various channels and departmental and institutional programs and initiatives. Dedicated to the education of the next generation of diverse leaders in urologic care. Collaborative team member, passionate about advancing urological care for our patients. Participate in department mentorship, conferences, resident/fellow education, and training. Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree
  • Board certified/board eligible in Urology
  • New York State Medical License and DEA Excellent communication and bedside manner
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive learning and working environment.
  • Expertise and interest in benign prostatic hyperplasia and stone disease a plus

Salary Range:

  • Assistant Professor: $374,687- $428,583 Associate Professor: $430,947- $501,570 Professor: $441,430-$525,045

The salary range listed is for full‐time employment not including bonuses, clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs. The above salary range for New York City based roles represents WCM’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
